Do you realize that you are having your celebration on the same weekend as the state games? This leaves us to have to choose between playing in the mud Volleyball and state games volleyball. In the past you have been a week earlier. Is there a chance you wrote the wrong weekend on your website?

Lived all my growing up years in Dwight! Remember the Czech festivals fondly.....especially the booster trips and all the preparation for the big weekend!! We would dance and sing our way through so many towns. Great fun! Never learned to do the Czech dances....does the Polka count?

My Grandfather, Frank Sedlak, was raised in Dwight. I am interested in obtaining the book, "The Centennial History of Assumption Parish of Dwight Nebraska 1899-1999." Do you know of any available copies and where I might get a copy? I am working on my family tree and I love genealogy!!

I am on the community club, and while I don't have copies of the assumption book, we do have copies of the Dwight Q125 businesses from 1887-2012, and the book, Dwight, Nebraska, The First 100 years of Memories, if any of those help you. you can contact my email, [email protected].
